Override Templates was created by David Willox
I desperately need some help!
For many years I have used K2 and the override templating but I now cannot get it to work.
I can see the templates in the back end and I assign them but they do not show up in the front end. When I look at the source code I find that they are simply not loading.
I have tried basic Joomla installs with no other extensions added and using protostar template.
I am quite willing to pay to get this sorted.

Thats strange that it has stopped working suddenly.
What is your folder structure for the over-rides.
Normally something like:
root>templates>Your template > com_k2>templates>over-ride-folder>files
If so are you sure they are in your default template directory?

Hi David,
Have you tried to enable debugging to check whether the template override files have any issues preventing them from loading?

I'm talking about a php error, not a problem in the directory structure.
You can set Error Reporting to maximum or development and check if any error occurs, then set it back to None.

I have finally found not one but two solutions:
Finally - it would seem to make sense to include explanation more prominently on the K2 site.
- If you use the original method just go back to using the css4K2 plugin. You can find the plugin on GitHub.
- Alternatively there is a new(ish) method which I had not picked up on - and I see others haven't. You can see it on the K2 Joom site.

Try posting the links without the http:// part. Sometimes Akismet can be overly eager.
Now as for using multiple templates this post will help you:
