K2 text changes not showing was created by Madeleine McMullin

I've changed the field K2_ADDITIONAL_INFO in the file en-GB.com_k2.ini to read 'Technical Information' instead of 'Additional Info' but it's not showing up in the front end. Is there any reason why this should be? I've checked and it's not over ridden anywhere. I'm using k2 v 2.6.9 and joomla 3.4.3.

I would suggest using Joomla!'s default overriding process if you only plan to change a few strings.

I've tried that but it's not just working. For some reason it's not picking up the override which is why I changed the core file to see if that would work and it won't. It should be a really simple thing - just change the text in the ini file, but it's still saying "additional info"

It could be hardcoded in the template, or the template itself could use its own language strings.

I looked at my template and it doesn't appear to have any language changes or any changes to the core K2 template at all. I'll take another look tomorrow and see if I can get any further.

Sorry the one I wanted to change was actually the article that was attached to that category. yokosphotoworld.com/development/stonecircle/index.php/materials/item/389-verde-tropical-g
The item isn't on the menu and I've not changed the menu for the category. I'm at a loss as to why it hasn't changed, unless it is something to do with the multiple extra fields for k2 extension that I installed. It doesn't appear to have any code that would change the title but I'll ask the developer just in case.

I've solved it - it was a filter extension that I had in that had its own language file. Sorry to have bothered you.

It was Filter for K2 by StyleWare
