K2 item cross-referencing? was created by Antoine van Kampen
Hi,
Is it possible to have a K2 item that includes a link to another K2 item? This would allow cross-referencing K2 items.
thanks,
antoine

Hi,
www.extly.com/utilities/xt-k2-link-item.html
this is now for buying, so i haven't tested (there is no Possibility for Testing). I used the former Version which was without buying but only for Jooml2.5 and it works fine (only in Backend).
So if you buy and use it can you please report if its working well?
Regards

Thanks, I will let you know if I will try it and, if so, what my experiences are.
I found another free extension: extensions.joomla.org/extensions/extension/extension-specific/jce-extensions/k2-links-for-advanced-link
However, this is no longer supported and, therefore, i will not try it. I don't want the risk of broken links in the future.

Hi,
you can try getk2.org/extend/extensions/869-k2-links-for-jce.
The first Xtension is in my point of View smarter, cause you get Item-Titel, introtext and Picure (or a different setting) at the End of the Item; using k2-links-for-jce you got Links (and have to use JCE).
Thank you for sharing your future Experiences.

Hi Franz,
Just tried the JCE extension you pointed to. Seems to work. Thanks! I don't understand why this is not standard K2 functionality.

Because JCE is not the default editor.
