Error 403 After Submitting Item

Error 403 After Submitting Item was created by Sulaimon
I get an Error 403 when I submit an Item in the frontend. Though the item eventually gets submitted, I want to eliminate the error 403 page. I noticed this started after upgrading to joomla 3.4.4. Thanks!

403 is a permission error. You need to make sure that your files/ folder have the required permissions.
You can use an extension like Admin Tools to enforce these permissions.

I notice the error comes up when i set 'edit own items' to 'No' in the group permissions because i dont want users to be able to edit already submitted items. But the error shows up when submitting new items.
Is editing own items the same as adding a new item? Pls help clarify.

Yes the user has permission to add new items. The error comes up but the new item still saves anyway.

Hi @Krikor any luck yet? I think this might be a bug because I've looked through the permission settings multiple times and the error msg still persists. PLEASE help look into it.

After saving an item in K2 front-end editing the system is redirecting the user to the item form again. You have set users to be able to add the item but not edit it, that's why you get the error after the first save.

Thanks for the contribution. Is it possible to redirect to the hompage once you click "save button" on the Item Form?
