h2 tags are being cleaned up despite settings was created by Geoffrey Mack

I double checked my settings. k2 is not supposed to cleanup the html in the intro text or full text. Screenshot shows this. imgur.com/8yh0UgI

I think this MUST be a bug. It is stripping h2 tags from the intro text view. Please help.

I even tried putting <p class="blah"> into the item and that gets stripped out too.

If you are using a word limit, then all HTML tags are being stripped. If you want to get around this behaviour you need to use a custom introtext.

Hi Geoffrey, did you solved this issue? I get a similar one where some <p> tags are stripped into Item View while clean up and intro text limit are disabled.

It could be related to two factors: a) Your template stripping HTML tags, your editor's settings. These settings will override K2's settings.
