I have a News Flash module within my Joomla installation, which allows me to post specific "News" items for peoples attention on my home page. It has worked well for years, as long as I used Joomla's article manager...but I'm slowly switching everything over to K2. News Flash is listed as a category to pick from when creating an item in K2, but when I try to use it...my item doesn't post to my News Flash section.

Any thoughts as to what can be wrong? Everything else has worked well so far...just having an issue with this one.

Does this News Flash module support K2 ? You can use K2 content module to display items from categories in a module position.

I had a webmaster setup my site for me before I took it over due to his health issues...

I believe it's the News Flash module that comes with Joomla. I cannot find any manufacture of the module listed at all.

If its the Articles - Newsflash module by Joomla, then it will not display K2 items. You need to use K2 Content module to display your items.
