How to remove K2_ suffix on clickable links? was created by TheCyberliem
Hi there,
I don't know why but on my sites, every time I use any item created by K2, on the pages the text display at the module always has the prefix K2_ for example:
"WRITTEN_BY" super user changed into "K2_WRITTEN_BY_MALE"
"PUBLISH IN", changed into K2_PUBLISH_IN
"BE THE FIRST TO COMMENT" changed into K2_PUBLISHED_IN"
"READ MORE" changed into "K2_READ_MORE".
You can see what I mean by going to the content I created by K2: www.seedsofdreamslibrary.com/news-and-events-5/library-news
I don't know if there's a quick setting fix for this or I have to go to the backend and fix the PHP files?
Thank you.

Those K2_ things are missing translations.
You can edit transaltion files and adding or download newest version on translation files.

Hi there,
After digging for a while, I manage to find the en-GB.mod_k2_content.ini file, where the translation are stored. I did find the following line:
K2_WRITTEN_BY_MALE="Written by"
And I did check the language setting for my k2 content is English (on my site there's only 2 languages installed). However, seems like in the web display it haven't changed. I'm not sure how to tell k2 content to load which language on the page?
Thank you for you help.

If the default language string is there but it is not shown in the frontend, you need to double check your template overrides.
It is possible that you are (or the template is) using hardcoded or custom strings.
