I loved that V2 design and now we have all this big stuff - big field for big screens. Not my way.

We cannot maintain two versions with completely different UI.
K2 will have a uniform design. I'm sorry you feel this way.

I'm sure there are others who might feel the same way and would appreciate a solution.

I'm kind of getting used to the UI (user interface) but I agree that it feels too large. It's really not all that different from previous versions but the display settings page is kind of hard to see the different sections and could be more obvious and smaller to avoid unnecessary vertical scrolling.
UI can be a tricky business and I've fallen into the trap many times of "I know where it is and so will everyone else". User feedback is essential for good UI.

As for the UI size/proportions, I can understand how someone can feel as though elements are "too" large.
I am using a 15" laptop and the new UI impacts my screen real estate.
I would suggest someone to provide a CSS override, along with screenshots or a demo site so people can see if they like it before implementing the CSS overrides. Hopefully a K2er with some CSS skills will accept the challenge. Note: I am not a CSS Whiz, so I am limited to only offering the suggestion and #JFeedback once it's ready to ship :)
Your thoughts?

request. editing the parameters is a slight annoyance on big monitors. maybe some form of container for them would be great. currently is is fluid . Also maybe using a more prominent method to separate primary, secondary, lead parameters. currently there is a very small thin horizontal separate only for primary and not the rest. maybe adding some padding tot them?

We had some breaks in modules caused by change in css margin. Nothing more.
I confess I was surprised. I did not expect a drastic change in the interface, how it was made. We are going slowly with customers because there are always those that are most difficult to assimilate the changes and, in addition, we will make a new training to answer questions of these customers.
I think the visual changes were positive.
Congratulations.
