Home menu item from item and category pages was created by Al[bert] L[ouis] Rossi
Hello,
I have just started using Joomla, so I am not sure this forum is the correct place to ask this question. But since it seems to be specific to a template I purchased which uses k2, I thought I'd start here.
I have noticed that the default 'Home' menu item (an SPPageBuilder page) takes me back to the Home page from other SPPageBuilder pages, but does not from a K2 article or category listing page. The only way to return home seems to be to use the browser back button.
I have searched high and low for a way to correct this through the back-end admin editor, but have found nothing. Is my only hope to doctor the item.php and category.php? If so, it would be great if someone could give me a little guidance.
Thank you, Al
Additional comment.
I cannot make the Home menu item an external URL, because it wants a component. But I can add a "Back" menu item to it as parent, with URL '/'. It works, but that is pretty ugly.

Thanks, Krikor. I'll see what I can find out from them. I've already found a few other things I had to dig into css and php to fix.
