Hi,
I have a problem with k2 comment system. I have done everything I knew for solving it, and read lots of forum posts but nothing was found.
The problem is that when someone try to submit a comment, the loading wheel starts to animate but nothing will change. In localhost I dont have this problem(I have installed joomla 2.5 on local) .My k2 version is 2.7 and joomla version is 3.4 and my template is YOO Nano 3.

Hi,
The comment system use ajax calls to post the data so this freeze should be probably a javascript error. Do you notice any errors at your console ?

I've found a clue:

In chrome Inspect errors console I have this:
"vrnegar.com/index.php Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 (Forbidden)"

Now what can I do?

Are you using any security extensions?
If you reload the page, is the comment present?

Hi krikor and thanks for reply(I was looking forward to your help).
No I havent installed any security extension. And after reloading the comment form is still there. For more information I also had some attempts to change htaccess file and sef settings but non of them worked. In addition I installed "jquery easy " to stop jquery conflict but again nothing happened.
Another point is that Ive seen in this forum that a guy has the same problem with jcomment.
Again thanks for answere.

Sure. The language is persian but the comment form is obvious at bottom of page. I've deactivated email and name field and there isnt any problem there. Thanks for looking to it: vrnegar.com/software/item/3-2

As you said on submiting the comment form the server replied with a 403 forbidden responce. Check your htaccess file for rules that may block this request. If you have an extension like admin tools or similar check that is properly configured.

I haven't installed any extension like admin tools. Also , I've already tried to change htaccess rules but I didn't gain any result. I would be appreciate if you take a look at my htaccess:

I should add this, I have exactly the same htaccess ( and extensions) on the local host but there isn't any problem! The only difference is that I have joomla 2.5 there and a 3.4 version here.

Thanks again.

It means that the AJAX call was blocked, can you revert to Joomla!'s default .htaccess file temporarily?

Replaced the htaccess file with joomla default htaccess, which was in its installation pack but nothing has changed. Still same error is shown and submit button doesn't work. :(
I think its something about joomla version and jquery files?isnt it?

Thank you. The comment form is now available for public at the end of the page:
vrnegar.com/software/item/3-2

And if you need more access and information I would be pleased and grateful to give them to you.

Something is still blocking all POST requests.

<p>You don't have permission to access /index.php
on this server.<br />

Since you have already reverted to the default .htaccess file, I would suggest that you let your hosting provider about this issue, since there may be custom security rules.

Thanks krikor.I called service provider and they told me they have blocked the comment service because of security of the site! They asked me to enable google recaptcha and then they solved the problem.

Thanks again.
