I am noting this as an enhancement request for the next release.
you can also request it at: github.com/getk2/k2

Hello, would greatly help an option to edit the title options and attribute the annexes after shipping. Currently this can only be done via database or sending the file again, which is impractical for normal customers.
Taking advantage of the topic, is there any way to restrict the upload files? I would like customers only send .pdf files - now they send all types of extensions that are not supported in browsers.

Hello, the upload field will inherit the settings from Joomla!'s settings.
In order to restrict the upload file types, you can try a frontend solution (might be tricky) based on parsley jsfiddle.net/02vjbLrs/14/ or you can use a plugin which performs the same check.

I also have clients who have requested this capability. I looked in the enhancement requests and couldn't find it. Could you point me in the right direction?
Thank you!

Hello Ella,
Unfortunately this has not been implemented yet.
You can find the enhancement requests here: github.com/getk2/k2/issues

Yes, PLEASE add this feature. We need to edit the attachment field.
It would also be very helpful to have the paths editable in a textfield.
thanks
Geoff

I would recommend using extra fields for downloadable files over the attachment feature.
Extra fields provide more flexible. I use them to the majority of my site (list image, item image, meta data, downloadable files, etc.)
For example, you could use a link type extra field. This way you would be able to control the text, link URL, and target.
Or you could map each element to a seperate extra field providing even more flexibility, as you could add a field for an image, or use a dropdown to standardize the text link (Download PDF, Download File, Access Attachment)
I love extra fields so much, that I am doing a JoomlaDay session about the many ways you can use them to power your Joomla! website:

As always Joe is right, although editing the attributes is a feature we are looking into.
