users permissions not working

users permissions not working was created by Tancredi

can someone explain how to allow users to just do this:

post new items
edit the items they posted

do not allow them to edit previously posted already published items!!!

this is not working!! getk2.org/documentation/tips-a-tricks/201-allowing-users-to-submit-content

You need to enable the "Allow editing of already published items" setting.
