K2 Sub-category ordering
I have a couple of sub-categories and I would like to order these by ID Ascending.
Irrespective of the chosen button under Subcategory / Display Setting / Default (By ID Ascending), Reverse Default (By ID Descending), Title – alphabetical, Title – alphabetical or Ordering), I get as result at all time the ordering: Reverse Default (By ID Descending) and I can’t figure out how to change it.
Do you have any idea?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Check if the category you mentioned inherits parameter options from onother category.

Unfortunately, the current setting is:
"Inherit parameter options from category = none"
In the parent category under display setting is set:
"Sub-category ordering
Default (By ID Ascending)"
Do you have other idea?

I'm really very beginner ...
My Joomla configuration is under
Global Configuration/System/Cache Setting/
Cache - OFF - Caching disabled
Cache Handler - File
Cache Time* - 15
How to clear it?
Has K2 separate Cache configuration? Where? How to clear it?

"Sub-category ordering
Default (By ID Ascending)"
I think you got a bit confused there.
These setting affects the ordering of the subcategories boxes, not the item.
In order to change the ordering of the items, you need to change the ordering setting of each category.

I try explane in short my configuration below.
Global Configuration/System/Cache Setting/
Cache - OFF - Caching disabled
Cache Handler - File
Cache Time* - 15
Under Main Menu - Manu Item 1:
- Menu Item Type: Categories
- Selected Category: "A"
Category "A"
- Parent cattegory: None
- Inherit parameter options from category: None
- Display Setting: in Sub-category handling -> Default (By ID Ascending)
Under category "A" is sub-category "- B"
- Parent cattegory: "A"
- Inherit parameter options from category: None
- Display Setting: in Sub-category handling -> Default (By ID Ascending)
Under sub-category "- B" are items: "a", "b", "c"
- Category: "B"
- Display Setting: all item view options in category listings are inherited from category
I think, according this configuration items should be listed in ascending order so that each item ID is higher,
then the one before it:
e.g.
1
2
3
etc.
Instead this, I get the listed result:
3
2
1
I tried to change Sub-category ordering to
- Reverse Default (By ID Descending) and
- Titke - alphabetical
but happened nothing...

These setting affects the ordering of the subcategories boxes, not the item.
In order to change the ordering of the items, you need to change the ordering setting of each category not the subcategory handling setting.
