K2 v2.7.0 issue was created by Gary Taylor
I have freshly installed a joomla site, however when ever I install the K2 component its failing and when I visit any of the menu links I get a blank page with the below error.
Also it does look tight in the component listing (see below link)

Can you help with whats doing this as I really want to use K2

Hi,
500 errors indicate a PHP server side error.
However it is a generic error code, please enable error reporting from Joomla!'s global configuration in order to see the actual issue.

Hi,
I have enabled the error reporting and reinstalled K2
I'm not sure it will be a PHP server issue as I use K2 with no problems on other sites on the same server, one place being here - www.mjjcommunity.com/michael-jackson/news
The site with the problem is a fresh rebuild in doing www.mjjcommunity.com/rebuild
Please if you can let me know what the issues are so I can have them sorted.

500 is always a server side PHP issue.

Weirdly its sorted itself out all by itself without me even doing anything 'that the!!!'

It could be a memory limit. If you run into this issue again, enable error reporting.
