Hi,

I'm a Joomla newbie and an amateur and as a volunteer I make websites for
nonprofits in Hungary.

I'm building a site of an online periodical. They intend to publish an issue every
two or three months. Each issue will contain articles of different subject categories
like literature, philosophy etc.
I can't figure out how to organize the content without adding an issue-number
subcategory to each main subject category, or the other way round, creating an
issue-number main category and adding the subjects as subcategories each time.
It threatens to grow endlessly big after a while. :eek:

Someone suggested that I try K2.
Can I sort out this problem wit it? If yes how?

I would appreciate any quick advice or information.

You can use one level of categories (the issues) and use tags (which are global) as second level taxonomies.
