I want to change the image that K2 uses when showing an Item on a Category page.

So let's say I have a Category called "Apples."

I create a K2 item called Macintosh and assign it to the Apples Category.

Using the Image tab for the K2 item, I upload an image of a Macintosh apple then save the Item.

When I go to the Apples Category page my image appears but the system is displaying the "large" version of the image. I know this by the file name:

I want to display the Extra Small version of the image.

I've tried changing all the image size options for the Category, the Item and in Global Parameters.

I also tried deleting and reuploading the image.

The system continues to display the large version of the image.

Can anyone help?

If that category is inheriting its settings from another category you need to edit the 'master' category's settings.

I checked and the Category is not inheriting any parameters.

Parent category = None

Inherit parameter options from category = None

I'm confident I'm missing a setting somewhere, but can't find it!

Any other ideas?

If you are changing the image size there (check if you are in the correct section), and still another image size is being used, try browsing your site with the default template.
If the issue is not present, then this is a template issue which should be addressed to the template's developer.

I solved this.

It was actually a menu setting.

Menu type: K2 » Item listings » Categories

Had to change: Options > Layout options for multiple category selection > Image size for leading items
