Hi there! can anyone do this?
for example: i have 2 categories (News, Agenda), where the items share the same tags (tag1, tag2, tag3, etc..)
is it possible to show related items by tags, separating the results by category? having "same tag news items" separated from "same tag agenda items"?

Unfortunately this cannot be done withour hacking the core which is strongly discouraged.
In order to achieve this I would recommend using a 3rd party extension,
You can look at the JED or the KED for such an extension.
