Further to problems I face (www.joomlaworks.net/forum/k2-en/49293-link-to-item-edit-form-not-opening-to-new-tab) Now there is another one:
When I add an K2 item from front end, on Save it redirects to Home page of the site! Since Home page has a lot of contant, the user cannot be sure that the k2 item is saved!
I tried to use the default Joomla Template, also default k2 add item template for the specific menu item, but the problem remains. So i suppose it has nothing to do with templating.
Can anyone pls advice?

Yes, the same thing.

Are you getting any PHP errors in your error_log or any JS errors in your console tab?
Furthermore what kind of user (ACL) are you using?
