How to delete date in extrafield was created by TheAnt

Helo
I need to delete the date in date extrafield. It is not a requested field, I can only change the date, not to delete.
Please, how to?

You are right, the flatpickr (the lib used for the calendar) marks the field as read only.
Let me see if a clear button can be added.

We will try to incorporate it to the latest release.
If you have the required coding skills the Flattplckr calendar is initialised here: github.com/getk2/k2/blob/master/media/k2/assets/js/k2.backend.js#L501-L504

It's a pity, the site is practically ready and the only problem is the date to be deleted in the articles. I do not understand in which file should be made the changes suggested by the link you indicated.

The file which needs to be changed is github.com/getk2/k2/blob/master/media/k2/assets/js/k2.backend.js#L501-L504
But it is not that simple, it needs to be tested across multiple browsers and Joomla! versions.
