Will K2 support joomla 4x ? was created by willburn

Hello,

I am very happy with K2, but the lack of news makes me a bit nervous if this great extension will continue to live or not. So my question is simple, i am about to rebuild one of my websites that runs heavily on k2+extensions, at the moment running latest joomla 3.8.10.

Will k2 be available & continued developed to support the upcoming version of Joomal 4x ?

I know we suck at marketing, but we're good at coding.

The GitHub repo of K2 should indicate our activity better :)

As for Joomla 4, yes, K2 will support it. Perhaps not the first day it's released (WHEN it's released) but it will support it. K2 is under heavy rewrite at the moment in a private repo to make sure our code is less Joomla-dependant in the future. This will also pave the way for K2 to support WordPress at some point in 2019.
