K2 Item Submit Shows Error '403 You Are Not Authorized To View This Resource'.

I tried by installing fresh Joomla 3.8.11 and K2 2.8.0 but failed to get it working.

I am on the localhost and using Wamp Server PHP 7. I also tried changing PHP to version 5 but showing the same error.

I tested It with:

1. Default Joomla protostar template
2. With and without SEF enabled.
3. K2 User Login Module
4. K2 front-end edit parameter enabled.
5. Admin user account.

* K2 User Login Module shows error if I try to set Joomla menu inside the module parameter.

I download and installed the K2 dev version 2.8.1 but still getting the same error '403 You Are Not Authorized To View This Resource'.

I also tried uninstalling the k2 2.8.0 with no luck.

confirmed - same problems. I installed the templates overrides as well...

Just a short remark. I have several sites with K2 some since joomla 1.5. And two of them don't have these problems even if they are actual K2 2.8 and joomla 3.8.11. They still worked serveral updates long. But I cannot see how my collegue had done this... and I cannot ask him anymore.

But this doesn't work if made a copy to my other sites... as a url link as part of a menu

Some changes introduced in J3.8 broke frontend editing in K2.

I'll make sure to post the official update (K2 version 2.8.1 or 2.8.5 depending on changes added) by next week.
