Suggestions for K2 filtering addon was created by Gorast
Hi,
can someone suggest good filtering addon for K2?

I currently use Filters for K2 from Slyware. It was ok while they supported it. Now it shows Errors on the front page and the company is not responding to the forum.

I also use JA K2 filters but its no good. It lacks of options and also it gives ?orders[zdate]=zdate&issearch=1 in the address bar which is bad for sharing.

Any other stable addon out there that will actyaly work on a longer period?

Thanks,
Gorast

Did you try this? It's up to date (latest release on July 1018) and seems pretty nice and easy to use: joomcar.net/products/joomla/k2-filter-and-search-module

That is literally the only one I haven't bought :/
I even contacted the author and got 10% discount but because of the previous bitter experience I'm afraid to purchase it.

Go for it. It comes up first in search results for "joomla k2 filter" and has the best user rating. If his solution is as smart as I think it is, he's hooking up to the search results page plugin event and modifies the resulting SQL query. Plus it looks simple to use.

Thanks for the compare table but JA K2 filter is worst then Filters for K2 for example. Aside of that the second is not getting patches and updates, JA lacks of features and you are stuck with ?orders[zdate]=zdate&issearch=1 after your domain name. Their team said that's the way its done.

Hi Gorast,
The ordering does not reflect any preference from my side.
It is just a comparison of features to help reader figuring out which addon can meet the business needs.
