Setting category to show articles in 2 columns not working

Setting category to show articles in 2 columns not working was created by Gorast
I want to make Blog view from a category listing articles.
I put Landing count 10, Columns for landing 2 but all I got is one column.

I tried to fix that by putting flat: right and float: left but Im stuck on some resolutions with blank spots in the grid.
Please check the url on resolution 1280x*** and wee what I mean.
gorast.com/DEVstation/dfrm/news

I tried stripping all css but I simply cannot find the problem.
Also the template is untouched, the default one.

Add this in your CSS file:
.clr {clear:both;display:block;height:0;line-height:0;padding:0;margin:0;}
