Stumped - Images Not Popping Up was created by Lance Thompson
Hi All,
I'm hoping to get some help. I've looked into this for a couple of hours and I can't seem figure out why images are no longer popping up when clicked in K2 items. Popups via simple image gallery pro work on the front page.
I'm using K2 2.9 on Joomla 3.9 with PHP version 7.2.11
The site is www.mapleventures.com and click on blogs on the right.
I've installed JQuery Easy (currently disabled) without any luck and I've updated Simple Image Gallery Pro to 3.5

It's most probably a JS conflict. The URL you provided is wrong. And I'd appreciate a direct link so I don't have to search the whole site :)

Easy to fix :)
Locate your item.php override inside /templates/main/html/com_k2/. If you use multiple subfolder in there, you'll probably need to update all item.php files with the following change:
Locate the modal initiator:
and replace with:
Save and test.
I would also recommend you do a comparison between the updated category_item.php and your copy for similar changes.

class="modal" rel="{handler: 'image'}"and replace with:
data-k2-modal="image"Save and test.

I have this same problem and everyone in the forum said there was something about the JS files, but your code fixed the problem. I really hadn't a clue about this change, because my files in my template were using the old code.
