Site has around 19k items. Listing filter is set to 20 items. all trashed items and categories have been deleted and there are no errors showing in Chrome Dev Tools.

It sometimes takes 15 seconds to load the page, sometimes if you refresh quickly it can reload instantly. Site is quick from the front end, it's just the item listing in the backend which is slow.

Joomla : 3.9.1
K2 : 2.9.0

Any suggestions as I've run out of options.

Thanks

Update to v2.9.1 (dev) github.com/getk2/k2/archive/master.zip - you should see a big improvement in both the backend and frontend. If you don't, it may be a host issue.

OK will do. Will test on a dev site and let you know.

We prefer to test on a dev site but it has worked OK and the backend listing is much faster. I'll do some more tests and roll it across to the production site.

Thanks for your help.
