How can I send an email to super user admin email when a new item is posted or old item is updated? Additionally, how can get user analytics for K2? I want to be able to view my K2 users as well as their activity with regards to content submitted.

I've been using the Joomkit K2 Notify plugin for years, but it's not available anymore. The only plugin I found for now is BFK2Notify (bitface.ru/bitextensions/bitplugins/bfnotifyk2-plugin) It is not listed in the JED, so I can't tell wether this is trusted and what the reviews are.

I wish something would be built in into K2 itself. A least for notifications on comments. Not only to the admins of the site, but also to a visitor who posted a comment. It would be a good idea if the user would get a notification if a response was posted.

I used K2 Notify and yeah it's available. But it created an Internal 500 error on new item submission on the front end and no email was delivered. How did you get yours to work? Did you fill out all the fields for email from and email to? Did you get an internal error when you first started to use it??
