Automatic Smart Search indexing and K2 was created by Michael

In Shell-client I enter command to run the Smart Search indexer and after a time the console showed an error:

Class 'K2Model' not found in /var/www/.../components/com_k2/helpers/route.php on line 318

I'm acting on that instruction: docs.joomla.org/Setting_up_automatic_Smart_Search_indexing

How to fix this error?

Joomla! version 3.2.7

K2 version 2.6.x

You need to provide more info. K2 and Joomla versions for starters as well as the complete error message.

The current K2 release does not even reach line 318: github.com/getk2/k2/blob/master/components/com_k2/helpers/route.php

It's probably some 3rd party extension that causes this. Do upgrade to Joomla 3.9.x (latest) & K2 2.9.0. There is literally no reason to stay in Joomla 3.2 and K2 2.6 which are both many years old.
