I don't know if this is the place but I wanted to report a bug. In two of my sites I used quickstart pachages that included k2 and in both sites I had problems with reCaptcha on the registration form. After a lot of research I found out that you have to disable a k2 plugin named k2 user for the reCaptcha to work on the registration form.

Actually, you need to disable K2 user profile integration.

Go to K2 (backend) >> Settings and in the Advanced Tab, set "Enable K2 user profile" to "No" as shown here: jmp.sh/FTrayy1
