I'm looking in to setting up a module which is a list of categories together with their category image using the K2 Tools module.

I've done a fair bit of searching around this and have found a post on this forum - www.joomlaworks.net/forum/k2-en/34725-display-k2-category-image-in-k2-tools - which contains a link off to what looks like some custom modifications to make but sadly the link goes to the old getk2.org community and is broken.

I've looked through the new forum but can't find anything similar so I'm wondering if it's still available... or if anybody has any suggestions as to how I can make this happen.

I can see in the Helper file for the K2 Tools module that the DB query is returning everything about a category and renders the code in the same file, so I'm guessing at worst I could hack that file to display the category image but any pointers would be most appreciated.

Thanks for that, very helpful.

After having a grown ups look I did manage to find a 3rd party module that does what i was after, though it's a bit crappy.

This is good information for future reference though.
