That's not an error, that's a notice. And notices should be disabled on production websites.

Just checked again.
a) Make sure you're using K2 v2.10.2.
b) I hope you haven't modified your K2 database tables manually.
c) Make sure the item you're viewing does not belong to a deleted Joomla user.

Edit that K2 item and assign a user (author) to it.
And please don't cross-post.
Additionally, creating a thread in the forum with title "Error??? Please help" does not really help others when searching for a similar problem. It's best to just add the first line of the notices you see.

Your completly right. My double item was a mistake.
Assigning a user (author) did not solve the problem: all items have a author. :-(

The notice does not make sense. UNLESS there is some other plugin that may override the K2 item object. So check your site's plugins for anything that may intercept K2 user data.

I know the problem: the alias of the author is not filled in? How can this be solved? (not by doing this by hand I hope)
