i display k2 items with a menu. In this items i use loadmodule to load k2_content module with a selected category.

To control the category (for breadcrumbs etc.) ive created menu items for each category and hide them. So there not displayed in the frontend.

But this menus are "visible" too.

So ive 2 different url with similar content displayed.

The urls lool like:
domain/shops/shop.html (is displayed over a menu item)
domain/shop.html (menü item which is hided)

My questions is, if i should use a canonical or a redirect for this issue regarding Duplicate content. Ive tried to create a redirect with the joomla component, but didint redirect it. Maybe because the url is not sending a 404.
