Problem with MySQL/MariaDB was created by Tigran
Hello friends,
my name is unixanet, and this is my first message in this board. Would like to say hello to all, and ask an question/support.

our website _Yerevan.today one of the leading news websites in our country, from the first day of his life using joomla and K2.
Unfortunately we have problems with our website, and want know how we can fix it.

Hope to get your idea sharing..

Our Server:
CentOS 6, Vesta (last version), Joomla! 3.9.16 Stable [ Amani ] and K2 v2.10.2

Right now, we have ~ 46k news (items) in our DB, size is ~400mb.

MySQL working unreall hard, and every day we have downtime.. our DB loading ~80% of CPU and killing VPS.

We have 2 big files :

433M /var/lib/mysql/admin_DB/yt_k2_items.ibd
433M /var/lib/mysql/admin_DB2/yt_k2_items.ibd

which we dont know what they doing, and can we delete them?

How to optimise work? how to lil bit tune DB work with K2?

We love k2, and want to work with him as much, as we can.. but how to optimise her ? ...

Never delete any files inside /var/lib/mysql/.

You will lose data.

Consult this configuration for your VPS: gist.github.com/fevangelou/fb72f36bbe333e059b66

Adjust to your specs.

If you use & love K2, please take a moment to add your review and rate it
at the Joomla Extensions Directory: extensions.joomla.org/extension/k2/
