Hi everybody!
I've got the same issue with this K2 content module, and I tried to dump some variables and found what made it, it's the last return line is trying to output a thing ($control_name.$name), and parts are an array and a string :-)
$control_name=array(0) { } $name=string(26) "jform[params][getTemplate]"

That's already resolved in K2 v2.10.4 (dev) so please use that release as stated previously in the thread...

Installing K2 v2.10.4 (dev) resolved the issue.
