Change Written by and its link was created by nick
Hi, I have a client who does not like the author link (Written by) defaulting to the site's Home page. This is in the K2 setup for: 'Item view options in category listings'.

Is there a way to disable the author link?
Also can I change "Written by" to "From"?
I hope you can help.

You can't disable the author link without hiding the author as well.
Your best bet is to create an override in your Joomla template and remove the link from any author/user references.

"Written by" holds information of the author's sex, in which case, if you need a generic "from" message, just override the relevant K2 sub-templates (in component or modules).
