My registration form is being handled by k2 as I'm using K2 user module. I'm using social network plugin from emediacom. Whenever a user registers he will get an error message ""could not pass verification code" because of Google recaptcha on the form.

I cannot use invisible captcha such as Google invisible recaptcha or Hashcash because in k2 settings I cannot set them.

If the registration form wasn't control by k2 then, it would be simple to choose whatever captcha in Joomla User Options.

P.S. other issues is that am getting a lot of spam registrations even though "security preference" is set to "Most secure" in Google recaptcha console. Moderators on Joomla forum said it's better to use captchas like Hashcash.

Any work around ?

just wanted to let you know that I have purchased SocialConnect Login (by JoomlaWorks) so people can register with their social logins.

However any workaround to prevent spam from k2 registration form with Google recaptcha ?

Is it an extension on it's own ? A link ?

I haven't got any luck in finding captcha for k2 in Joomla extension directory and K2 extension directory.

My point is recaptha is not doing a great job actually because am getting spam users registering. These spammers are even activating their accounts through activation emails they receive.
