Hello,

I am in a very unpleasant situation and the most frustrating is that I do not know how it happened.
Suddenly, all the k2 items lost their images.
I can see the original images in the folder of K2 in my server but inside the items, the images are removed.
Any idea how it can happened?
Any attack targeting the database with a script?
Any idea?

My K2 items IDs have not changed and all the files (images) on the server have the proper permissions rw- r-- r--
The strange is that I have only two items that have kept the images. These two ones I created today in the morning.
This happened just like that today.
I tried to restore the database but I see no point as you say there is not any reference in the database. 
Can I restore all the images to the files somehow?

I restored files to a previous date and everything is fine.
Unfortunately, I did not check to open an image direclty on the broswer :/

The most frustrating is that I did not analyse/debug what happened to provide feedback as the restore to previous point worked.

It remains a mystery how suddenly 1900 images were "deleted" from the k2 items.

I will let you know if I discover anything or if it happens again (I hope not)
