Hello,

I have an annoying problem. My website freezes at random intervals (sometimes 1 day, 3 days or 5 days). When I check the logs, the following comes up. jw_sigpro is hogging the servers resources due to creating images. It's still using class.upload.php which is a pretty outdated script. Is it possible to ImagMick or something for creating these images? Those are way faster and more perfromative than the class.upload.php its now using.

SIGPro does not use class.upload.php (which by the way is NOT outdated). It uses plain PHP GD functions. I would recommend overriding your PHP's memory_limit for SIGPro galleries only to something like 128 or 256 in SIGPro's Advanced Settings (in the component). Also, ensure thumbnail images are cached longer. You can set that to days or weeks. You'll be surpsised how much better things will perform afterwards.
