Buongiorno a tutti,

Grazie
Alberto

Have you ensured that frontend editing is properly configured? E.g. an item may be edited and switched back to unpublished if "Allow editing of already published items" (in the English version of K2) is not set to "yes" for a given K2 User Group.

Hi Fotis,
thanks for your reply.
Yes "Allow editing of already published items" is set to "yes" for all K2 User Groups. But the problem is not about the unpublished articles, the articles that disappear is still pubblished.
Simply they desappear from frontend pages and modules.

Wait, you have items that are shown as published in K2's backend yet they don't show up on the frontend of your site? Could it be users change category or something by accident?

Yes

Could it be users change category or something by accident?

I dont' think, because if I open item in backend, and I save it whidout modifing, the item appear in frontend. So I had supposed was a modification date problem, my idea was "maybe the module publish only the item recently modified", but if I update by phpmyadmin the "modified" field in #__k2_items table the item is still unpublished in frontend.

Maybe this problem it is caused by another plugin or component?

It's surely not how K2 works. And I can't possibly know/tell why this happens to your site. It could be some customization for sure or a 3rd party extension causing these issues. But it's beyond the scope of support provided here.
