I have some no number modules installed, sh404SEF, RT Templates.....

Just thought of something. I am using K2 multiple images and I believe that plugin calls item-multiimages.php instead of item.php

I just turned off the plugin and the page seemed to display okay.

Does this makes sense? Could the multiple images plugin be causing the issue?

I am having the same issues, on Joomla 2.5.7 and just upgraded to K2 2.6.0 and now all of my K2 items give me 403 errors.

Hi,
I upgraded my site to Joomla v. 2.5 (using jUpgrade); while testing the new site, I get this error message:
"Fatal error: Class 'K2Table' not found in (...)/jupgrade/administrator/components/com_k2/tables/k2category.php on line 14"

I get this error with every click :(
As it seems, the upgrade totally ravaged my site. I can live with the fact that the template is gone, as long as people can navigate through the site.

Can you install any other component or plugin? I would check my temp path, and test installing a different component of plugin to test your configuration first

I am trying to upgrade a site I have to the latest version of K2 2.6.0

I am currently using:
K2 2.5.7
Joomla 2.5.7
PHP 5.3

I tried two methods of updating to the latest version of K2.

Method 01
Extension Manager / Find Updates
I click the update and I receive this error message:

JFolder::create: Could not create directory
Update path does not exist
JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find Joomla XML setup file
Unable to detect manifest file

Updating COM_INSTALLER_TYPE_TYPE_ was successful.

Method 02
Extension Manager / Upload Package File
I tried manually installing the latest K2 zip file over the old one and I received this message:

JFolder::create: Could not create directory
Warning: Failed to move file!

Can someone please point me in the right direction please.

It appears that yesterday when we upgraded to the latest version of K2 2.6.0 Nivo Slider stopped working and disappeared on the whole, I've checked all the settings and they've not been changed versus the previous version of our website we have locally.

Also we were getting the ModelcPanel error too which I have resolved by removing the cpanel.php file.

Any idea how I get K2 Nivo Slider to reappear?

I just upgraded to the latest version of K2 and have lost my K2 comments and the K2 comments form fields. I decided to reinstall the previous version of K2 (K2_v2.5.7) but this has not helped - still same problem. Yes very stupidly I did not do a backup just before I installed this update.

I have a French website which is a mirror copy of this site (I did not install latest K2 release on the French website and everything works fine). What specific K2 files can I copy from my French website across to my .co.uk website to resolve the issue?

Quick assistance would be greatly appreciated so I can sort this issue asap.

I just upgraded to the latest version and have an issue. Stupidly I forgot to backup before upgrading to your new K2 release as I thought it was stable and fully tested.

I reinstalled the previous version (K2_v2.5.7) over this latest release but I have lost my 'K2 comments' section on the website. The K2 comments and the comment form fields at the bottom are no longer visible. I am running a Joomla 2.5.7 site.

Hi. Try to delete the file /administrator/components/com_k2/models/cpanel.php and let me know if that fix your issue. Note that this is only for K2 2.6. If you have a previous version of K2 you need to keep that file.

It appears that the upgrade to K2 caused this nice little trick you showed me a few months ago to stop working. Any thoughts?
