thank you for answer. i upgraded my joomla to 3.2.3 and installed K2 development version. but i have this problem yet so you can see a screenshot of it in my attached file.

in this problem , after open a page for create a new k2 content we see a date with invalid format like 773-01-0-452 01:57:39 . if we removing date and then save content, it will save with correct format.

also if you open current content with corect date, the date of it convert to invalid format and you must remove date again before save that content .

i hope you can find a solotion for this problem.

The error seems to come from template.js file. Have you enabled GZIP compression in global configuration? If so, try to disable it. Finally try to open the network tab in the Chrome development tools and refresh the page. Make a screenshot of the javascript files loaded there.

After Joomla update from 3.2.2 into 3.2.3,
when creating new K2 item, time part in Created date stamp is always 00:00

Created date:
Before Joomla upgrade: 11/03/2014 - 14:33
After Joomla upgrade: 12/03/2014 - 00:00

It's always 00:00 at end.

Modified date works OK - it saves modified time in date stamp as it should.

Joomla articles are saving time stamp OK

This is problem because system doesn't sort k2 items well
because it is missing item creation time time

Do you have any suggestion how to fix this?

No i not modified Isis, and with Hathor is the same problem.
I test in Chrome, Firefox, IE, Opera and in all, see the problem, inclusive in other machines.

The method at this link worked for me . . . solved, for now.

This should really be a feature of K2 though, I think. Surely the navigation should follow the order set in the category . . . or admin facility to set ordering of navigation within articles.

Method works, but it does edit core files so not upgrade friendly . . :

Hello all,

I'm running Joomla 2.5.17 and K2 2.6.8

Before I updated K2 from 2.6.2 to 2.6.7 I had a few menu items pointing to categories and inside all items were shown. After the upgrade to 2.6.7 all featured items disappeared. In category settings it is set to show featured items. I tried a downgrade to 2.6.2 but the problems remains.

Any ideas as to what could the problem be? If I toggle the items to not featured, they show up.

Have you modified the administrator template? I just tested under Joomla! 3.2.3 with Chrome and had no issues. Try to clean your browser's cache.

K2 (v.2.6.5) has seemingly worked perfectly up until trying to install the latest K2 filter extensions (both search and filter and the Joomlart offering).

Trying to upgrade has caused problems and I suspect it's something that needs fixing in the core files - would be eternally grateful for some pointers!

Would really rather avoid any major uninstall - if possible!

The modules install OK, but when trying to create a new module, the styling on the module breaks and I'm given the error:

I upgraded to joomla 3.2.3 this morning and then went to install K2 which appears to have been installed successfully.

Yet when you go to the components menu the K2 menu item does not show up? The only way it looks like I can access the K2 component is from the Joomla control panel?

Any idea how t get the K2 menu item to show up in the component menu on the back-end?

Attached is a sceenshot showing that I am in the K2 component, but also showing the dropdown menu missing the K2 menu item.

I have done nothing but say what I have been reading and seeing for the last 12 or more months about K2...and the JoomlArt thing is completely correct.

With all this said, I can see why you get defensive, as you've just announced V3...Which is definitely needed!

I can say that I am now personally going to hold off on 'any other solutions that I may have mentioned', in anticipation of K2 v3.

As i said, i am a k2 lover, and the whole time while building a site with EasyBlog, I kept wanting to go back to K2...but since their hadn't been many major changes for a long time, and the big boys starting to support EasyBlog, it seemed time to change....Hell, If JoomlArt decide its time to change, they must know more than I do right?

Either way, these proposed changes will more than likely keep me with k2 :cheer:

One thing though, i really wish K2 was an integration within Joomla Articles...Using K2 for everything is great, but it kinda defeats the purpose of having Joomla Articles in the first place.. I would assume K2 was born out of the pore Joomla artciles system in 1.0 and 1.5, but Joomla 3 articles are good, especially now that we have tags in Joomla 3....this would be one of my big wishes, i also say this as all my clients struggle to see why they need K2 when Joomla articles 'seems (to them at least) similar to K2 (yes i agree its different, but these are my clients who pay my bills :).

K2 3 looks great, more so looking forward to K2 3.1...

2 more things:

1) I always seem to have a need to build business directory's were different 'fields' (k2 extra fields) need to be shown or hidden to clients in frontend editing based on the joomla user group they are (IE: they have subscribed to gold, silver, or bronze package and each package will give subscribers access to different K2 extra fields). Not many Joomla directory softwares can even achieve this, without modification...so if K2 could do this, there seriously would be no need for the directory softwares that are available for Joomla right now

2) the new k2 2.6.8 has the new innoDB...You said that existing sites wont be upgraded to this. Could you advise how we can upgrade existing sites to use innoDB? I have a few projects in development using K2 and a couple of recently live sites that would benefit from this.

Great work..i do hope that anyone who has gone away from K2 does come back now with the new version about to come out...i would also be more than happy to help alpha / beta test it..

After upgrade K2 from 2.5.x to 2.6.7, I starting this error message each time after I add a new item. It's not causing anything, but don't know what does it mean and how to get rid of it.

After upgrade to K2 2.6.7, the term of services are not showing up anymore.

I tried many many things.

1. I disabled all the plug in,but the issue is still there.

2. I upgrade the Joomla to 2.5.18, the issue is still there(I roll it back later since it doesn't look good in mobile device)

3. I used the fix mentioned in the above link, basically add 'K2' in front of BeforeDisplay and AfterDisplay, the issue is there. The version of k2 they have is 2.5.7, mine right now is 2.6.7, so I am not sure if we encounter the same issue even on the surface they looked same.

At this point, I believe this is a K2 issue. I want to know if I can talk to a K2 developer to go further research. It's holding my site right now and I need support!!!!!!!!

I have a problem of conflict between K2 (ver. 2.6.7) and Widgetkit.

With the upgrade of K2 my home page slideshow never work again.

Also, I have upgrade the K2 Store (component).

Please, tell me what is the solution of my task?

You should upgrade your joomla to the latest version too, now it's 2.5.18. Also make a backup and make sure all the other components, modules, templates or plugins are compatible with the new version.

I'm afraid i can't advise you on which plugin to turn off, you have to try it yourself.

Since you were using K2 v2.5 earlier, the module that you could have used is the K2 Login Module, now that module is no longer shipped in newer K2 version. Please replace it with K2 User Module.

Note: It's User Module and not Users Module

I have a [nightmare] client's website that is on the latest version of Joomla [3.2.2] & I am using K2 and AllVideos. I have a Video category that was displaying intro text and included videos [vimeo] in the category view, but since upgrading to Joomla 3.2.2, the videos no longer display & I have been ripping my hair out trying to figure out why. I have checked all my AllVideo settings, uninstalled and reinstalled, double checked against documentation and tried to find a forum post with similar issues, but am so far running into a wall. I have even tried removing the video from the K2/AllVideos tab and tried using the {vimeo}video #{/vimeo} embed, but no dice there either. So, any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
