If you're really using K2 v2.5.7 please upgrade to v 2.6.7

No, this is a misunderstanding. I started with a fresh install of joomla 3.2.0 (it wasn't an upgrade) and K2 version 2.6.7.
The comments visitors leave on the website are unpublished in the backend and I can't publish or edit the comments.

Before upgrading to Joomla 3.2 you said you had a joomla 1.5 site with K2 2.2, right?
Before you started the upgrade to joomla 3.2 did you first try to upgrade K2 in your joomla 1.5 site?

K2 2.6.7 works in Joomla! 1.5.26. Did you get any error upon upgrade?

I'm upgrading a website from joomla 1.5 to joomla 2.5 using jUpgrade.
I installed K2 2.6.7 and works great.
But none of the data got imported.
I'm looking at the k2 tables using phpmyadmin.
The new ones have a different structure - I cannot copy the data from the old tables to the new ones.
For instance k2_items have 35 values in the old table but the new one has 36 values adding language.
I can't get it to copy the structure to the old one, or to copy the data from the old to the new table.
Please advise how to import the data to the new tables.

I'm currently using the Joomla core blog functionality for my client's News page and have had multiple problems from the onset, having to implement custom css just to get the page to display properly. I went to upgrade to Joomla 3.2.2 and the blog layout broke completely. Even though the Gavick template I'm using hasn't released a template update, I'm not sure if the blog functionality is a problem with the Gavick template or core Joomla but I'm considering using K2. Being unfamiliar with it, can someone tell me if I can set up a page similar to this link, with layout, pagination, etc.? I want to be sure that I can customize it according to the site brand and that it won't conflict with the template. Thank you!

I'm glad you sorted it out, even though modifying core files is not something I recommend.

Make sure to get a backup of this change when you upgrade K2.

Do you use template overrides? If you do try to disable at leas the register.php file in them and check if you can register then.
When I registered from your page with the addition that I had disabled all templates and loading only the system template

Since you are getting a 404 page something is wrong in the redirect url. You need to check the register.php file between the K2 component and your overrides to see for any changes.

You are right about that. I'm sorry I must have missed the part that you were referring to featured items only. Indeed that is how K2 also works.

Try to upgrade to K2 version 2.6.8 SVN which is compatible with Joomla! 3.2.x and let me know if this fixes your issue.

In my joomla site I see two modules of K2 which are not updated, while other K2 products are.
see printscreen for K2 Category and K2 Product Offer. The upgrade took place a while ago.
I wonder why these two did not update with the rest, but more importend is how to upgrade these aswell.

Just trying to resolve an issue I've encountered with K2 & J3.2.1 -

It seems I can no longer create new K2 items or categories ? also the edit item and edit category screens are all out of alignment. Rather than tab's running above the content window I get a bulleted list with the other config options listed beneath the content window.

I had the same issues with K2 2.6.7 and after reading some suggestions here upgraded to the 2.6.8 Dev build which I downloaded today.

It doesn't impact the live site other than not being able to add new content.

Any possible solutions ?
As site is live so I'm happy to PM an admin the details.

Running J3.2.1
K2 2.6.8 Dev Build
PHP 5.3.27
MySQL 5.1.72-cll
Template is Protostar so no frameworks etc.

The comments have been made to each K2 item that contains the gallery and the video, right?
If that is the case, I don't see any problem to update.

Make sure to get a full backup first, though.

Thats right. We are using 1.5.

Essentially want to update the Photo Gallery & the Video Gallery and KEEP all the user comments that have been made on the videos and photos.

SO if we update to the latest version of K2 all the user comments will remain?

Same result,also with the dev version....

It will NOT work when you choose a file from the server!

I've already purge the db many many times but it does not work.

k2 have not the settings oppurtunity for a url like >> sitename/top-level-category/alias.
Will you introduce this important feature in k2?

I've configured k2 for working with sef404 as sitename/top-level-category/alias i've purged the database url but
I've stil got double url for every item (k2 url & sef404 url )
