This has to do with your menu setup.
If that tag belongs to the mobile menu it will inherit the template from its menu item.
You can try and set a K2 Categories menu item in both your menus, towards all K2 categories. This means that all user pages, orphan tags etc will be rendered from this menu item.

There is a setting in IIS for handling non-utf 8 links. You have to contact your hosting provider about this.
Another scenario would be to enable SEF URL character replacements in K2's params.
Joomla! 2.5 or newer has a setting for this as well.

You can use canonical tags to correct this issue.
You can either use a K2 plugin for this, or map your entire content (K2 categories in this case) in menu items.
Google somehow picked up this URL. Make sure you have not posted it in your site.

K2 TAGs problem with accented Charaters (IIS)
Category: English K2 Community
Hi,
I just transferred a site with Joomla 3.3.3 and K2 2.6.8 from a LINUX server to a windows shared hosting with IIS and apparently everything is working fine, except for two details that I am not able to resolve.
One has to do with an error (Page not Found) when I click a link in a K2 TAG with accented characters (eg férias)
Another problem is that i can not perform site backups with the backup component Akebba Backup. It returns the message "Unreadable directory <my root directory>" and the backup file contains only the installation folder (both JAr as Zip) .

Now
1. menu items (for menu for template 1) is made up of K2-> categories which is working fine.
2. menu items (for menu 2 for template 2) is made up of k2->tag , which i suppose is not working as defined
now what actually happening is, ( very complex n hard to explain still i am trying because i am facing a lot of prob)
now when i view the tag page in mobile device its coming fine,
but when i click on the tag link from my desktop/lappi from any k2 article it automatically redirects me to the mobile site version ON MY DESKTOP.
i mean tag page , template, menu items are all messed up.
Why the k2 tag page on desktop is showing the mobile template version of K2 tag page.
Pls help. i am facing a lot of problem because of this.

The error you are getting is raised by an other extension. This is a bug of the extension which should check the document type ( HTML, XML or JSON ) before trying to add CSS and script tags to the head.

In my personal experience, no they are not mandatory.
They do help though.
If you have different K2 categories/tags and extrafields per language you do not need another extension.

Hi. AllVideos is a content plugin. The only requirement to work is that the extension where you type the code tag supports content plugins. Where exactly are you placing the tag? is it in Joomla! articles or K2 items ( or a different extension )? Is it in a component or a module? Is there a link to your site?

Hi. Try this:
1. Ensure that Joomla! is up to date. Joomla! 1.5.26 is the latest version for 1.5 series.
2. Ensure that K2 is up to date. Currently the latest version is 2.6.8.
3. Ensure that Joomla! caching is enabled.
4. If you are familiar with MySQL and phpMyAdmin you can try to change the database engine to InnoDB. First read getk2.org/community/English-K2-Community/192249-Convert-Tables-from-MyISAM-2-InnoDB-4-Performance and getk2.org/community/English-K2-Community/190573-Sorry-K2#191017 .

It looks like my MySQL server is hammered by this queries:
5601265 user localhost site Query Sending data SELECT ... FROM jos_k2_tags as t LEFT JOIN jos_k2_tags
5601267 user localhost site Query Locked UPDATE jos_k2_items SET hits = ( hits + 1 ) WHERE id='1
5601318 user localhost site Query Sending data SELECT ... FROM jos_k2_tags as t LEFT JOIN jos_k2_tags
5601320 user localhost site Query Sending data SELECT ... FROM jos_k2_tags as t LEFT JOIN jos_k2_tags
5601321 user localhost site Query Sorting resu SELECT ... FROM jos_k2_items as i LEFT JOIN jos_k2_cat
5601806 user localhost site Query Sending data SELECT ... FROM jos_k2_tags as t LEFT JOIN jos_k2_tags
5601807 user localhost site Query preparing SELECT ... FROM jos_k2_tags_xref WHERE tagID=428) ORDER
5601808 user localhost site Query Sending data SELECT ... FROM jos_k2_tags as t LEFT JOIN jos_k2_tags
5601889 user localhost site Query Sending data SELECT ... FROM jos_k2_tags as t LEFT JOIN jos_k2_tags
5601890 user localhost site Query Sending data SELECT ... FROM jos_k2_tags as t LEFT JOIN jos_k2_tags
When there are many people accessing site I got 5 or more queries trying to send data to k2_tags, is there any way I can maybe optimize this or fix it?
Thanks
