When searching for "LDD-1060" (K2 item with "LDD" in text, title, and tag), the expected results are found. All related items, articles, etc.
Also, searching for "1060" or "106", I get the same good results.
But searching for "LDD", I get results from standard articles, SEO Glossary items, and Phoca Download items. Not for K2 items!

I have a site where the menu items at the top are the k2 tag type.

In the back end of the site where in the past in the menu edit screen I select the drop down to select the TAG to use for the menu item, this now does not display any of the available tags??

I am running Joomla 3.1.1 on php 5.4.14 and this issue is both on K2 2.6.5 & 2.6.6

The site is running on the gantry framework which is 4.1.10

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Having re-installed some old backups, the error has appeared after the Joomla upgrade from 3.0.3 to 3.1.1. So not specifically a K2 bug as the version of K2 was 2.5.5 but if anyone has a solution it would be great as the new joomla update is a security release

I have a question if the theme of the demo site at demo.getk2.org/. Is some kind of paid one or I can download it somewhere? I like a lot how the K2 elements are placed (additional info, tags, comments etc) the colors, and overall look and feel it has. By getting this theme I would like to save myself a lot of work. If this is not a theme that is freely accessible..than can I base my K2 items theme on it?

Hallo, ich habe nun schon einige Tage immer wieder nach einer Lösung gesucht und dabei viele Foren durchgestöbert. Nun weiß ich lediglich, das viele dieses Problem haben, aber keiner eine Lösung.

Der "Schließen"-Button reagiert nicht. Weder schließt er die Lightbox, noch gibt er den Artikel im System wieder frei.

Ich benutze Joomla 2.5.9 und K2 2.6.6 (derzeit aktuelle Versionen). Das Problem ist auch schon in J1.5 aufgetreten, doch die Lösungen nützen in 2.5 nichts.

Kann bitte jemand helfen? Ich möchte K2 sogern verwenden!
Vielliecht kann mir auch jemand verraten, wie ich ein JQuery-Problem testen bzw. feststellen kann?

I ran into problem. I bought Gavick Pro template - Game News and I made clean install of Joomla 3.1.1 + GK Game News +K2 2.6.6, and had installed GK 'Quick' files separately.

I wanted to make New menu Item (type: K2 Tag) but under '-Select tag-' there is no select opton button.

Nevertheless, in GK 'Quick' files installation (run under Joomla 3.0.3.) it works perfectly.
I made new clean install of Joomla 3.0.3 + GK Game News +K2 2.6.6, and it works perfectly there, too.

I'm almost done with the site I work on (in 3.1.1) and I would like to ask if anyone know a solution to this problem, with exception of downgrading Joomla from 3.1.1 to 3.0.3.

Is it possible to get K2 plugins to display on Tags and Search?

I'm trying to get the K2Mart information to display on the Tag listing as Tags are virtuemart's way of handling multiple categorization.

I found a template hack for J1.5! but it doesn't seem to work for 2.5.

Admittedly, I did post this over at Joomlaworks, but the last post there was 3 weeks ago and had no responses.

I have built this plugin AutoMeta for K2 to enable automatic generation of meta keywords and description for K2 items.

Its very easy to configure a template for keywords and desc on the level of a category or all categories, it this template you can use Item title, Category name, Tags or Extra Fields placeholders to be automatically substituted with the real value dynamically and on the fly, without any interaction webmasters.

I'm looking forward to read your impressions about it, and whether it can be developed more to meet your needs.

Whenever I share a link from an article from my site to facebook and there's an apostrophe in the the title, "'" appears (without the quotes) in place of the apostrophe. I'm not 100% certain why this is the case. I was looking at another site to see how the og:title tags differ and this is what I found:

I think what I've determined is that the string for my site actually inserts the code for the ampersand instead of just placing the ampersand itself and that's what is breaking my apostrophe when sharing the links. I'm just not sure how to change the php to fix it.

I found the line of code for it in com_k2>views>item>views.html.php:

$document->setMetaData('og:title', htmlspecialchars($document->getTitle(), ENT_QUOTES, 'UTF-8'));

Does anyone know how I can resolve this problem?

Oh and if it's relevant, I'm running Joomla! 2.5.8 and K2 2.6.6 with a RocketTheme template that uses Gantry 4.1.8.

This is a Joomla! issue not a K2 issue, you can reproduce in com_content as well.
I don't know however if was fixed in the 3.1 version.
