Cant get it to work - have read all posts - gallery doesnt show, just the text was created by kerstin

Hi there, I hope somebody can help me with the following problem,
I installed the gallery and created a test folder in the stories folder, inserted { gallery }test{ /gallery } into my page but all I see is the text { gallery }test{ /gallery } - rights are all set to 777 - plugin is activated... can anybody help?

Can you give us a direct link to the gallery
this will be more helpful to understand the nature of the issue!
( ;) I have just seen the PM, ok! )

Where did you exactly write the code, into the content item or somewhere else?
Several clients write the code into the section or category text and there the plugins can't be parsed.

Also you need to write the code without space

No this way
{ gallery } test {/ gallery }
But this way
{gallery}test{/gallery}

SOLVED !!!!

Thanks! I just double checked all settings and it works now!

A) use link without spaces! {gallery}test{/gallery}
B) check plugin is activated
C) check path is /images/stories/
D) check file permissions

WORKS a beauty!
