If you are using the joomla1.5 version of the sig pro
please, rename the images lowercase.
I'm afraid it is a known bug, fixed in the bug free version quiet ready to be published.
Also check out if your server have installed the GD2 graphic library.
Thank you!

Hi my friend!

Yes, a quick fix to this bug would be greatly appreciated. I have a gallery of 270+ images, and renaming them is not a good use of my time.
What about special characters like _ or - ?
Edit: I just spent the last 15 minutes checking all the photo names and they're all lower-case or have numbers. No upper-case, and no special characters. I still get "Image type cannot be supported".
Edit: I finally found one image that had the extension "JPG", and it works now. I noticed another thread where a fix for this was promised as far back as March. I don't know java, but I know other languages where entering a single "change case" line would take care of issues such as this one. I honestly don't understand how a case-sensitive issue can't be solved in 4 months. A rush on this fix would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Also, the labels don't center according to the thumbnails width. Might want to do some work on resizing the fonts and/or centering better in the thumbnails.

If this has been known for some time why isn't it mentioned in the FAQ or common problems? I can't believe I'm the only person to ever capitalise a file name.

of course iam very disapointed about this Bug.
I bought this Plugin a long time ago and this Thread is open since 4 Weeks, but no fix is anywhere, and the support is not that, what customers (who paid for this product) need.
When you will fix this Problem? I cant believe, that you have done nothing in the last Weeks and Month!

Hi,
I want to support what speakers have said before me. I cannot rename one by one 400 pictures. Please fix this problem as soon as possible and post the solution here. Thank you.

I'm using the single thumbnail method and placing {gallery}name{/gallery} inside table cells so I can control the formatting (since it's impossible to do with SIG Pro).
I found if I place more than 12 galleries on a page, I get the error message. When I cut down to 12 galleries, everything displays fine.
Also, image size seems to be a big factor. I've had to resize quite a few files to get the plugin to work properly. I have no idea what the maximum is, or whether it's a file size (kb) or image size (px) issue.

A quick fix for this recurent problem to many users will be a sign that the developer who have received money (amount does not mean no support 1Euros, 1.000.000 euros same support) care for their customer or I am may be too old fashion ??

Also, the only display method that would work with my site was the Greybox, but I bought this plugin because I prefer the slimbox display method. Unfortunately, I have other modules and plugins on my site that require mootools. SIG crashes those every time.
I've decided to go with Expose'4. Not only is it free, but it worked right out of the box without hacking.
Oh well, live and learn. :-[

Performance issue patch
forum.joomlaworks.net/index.php?topic=2931.0
Why is sigpro problem that several templates loads the same js library?
At least we give a lot of js engine to use in order to overpass those conflicts.
Several templates out there don't give this option to the customer!
Thank you!
