Getting errors when producing thumbs, new version

hi when i go to an article that shows the thumbs i get this error at the top for ever thumbnail in the gallery, need help asap :'(

Some server issue. Please contact your hosting company for that. We did not change anything related to thumbnail handling in v1.2  ;)

iv spoke to me host and they said its the pear: thats the problem i need to remove the :

any idea where that is being set?

Crappy hosting I'd say. Anyway, what company is that? Have you considered switching? If all you have is a joomla website, I will gladly move it for you in another better and cheaper host!!

Here are some decent hosting providers...

www.site5.com (the best - they have a 99 dollars package for a whole year which gives you tremendous space, domains etc. etc. - plus it's the fastest hosting company around ;) )

www.dreamhost.com
www.mediatemple.com (business class hosting)

the company is streamline.net

here is the exact reply i had from them

"There is a colon in the path to pear which is incorrect, please change it to /usr/share/pear"

where is it picking up this path?
