I think it might be useful to be able to choose not to load any engine. This makes it easier to create custom templates.
In my case i:
  • create folder "empty" in /plugins/content/jw_sigpro/jw_sigpro/includes/js/
  • create file "popup.php" in /plugins/content/jw_sigpro/jw_sigpro/includes/js/empty
  • add <option value="empty">Empty</option> in /administrator/components/com_sigpro/config.xml
but in next update i need rewrite config.xml
Thanks

Along these lines, what is the lightest-weight option in the list of popup engines? I'm trying to narrow it down and Lightbox2, Colorbox, Prettyphoto, Swipebox, Magnific, and Nivo... are all around 4kb when I look at these folders:

\plugins\content\jw_sigpro\jw_sigpro\includes\js\

They are all much larger to be exact, but fetched from a CDN. You'll have to use your browser's console to count the loaded files and decide.

All I can say is that these options will be trimmed down significantly in the future as we migrate to an entirely new SIGPro with our own JS code for the modals and upcoming slideshows, to compliment existing grid presentations of image galleries.
