Cache Rebuild Policy was created by Paul Smith

I have several galleries shown on one page using single thumbnail mode.

However, it seems that when loading the page after the cache expiration time, it takes an inordinate amount of time to display the summary page.. as if underneath sigPro is rebuilding all the thumbnails.

Can cache rebuilding be turned off? I have few changes to the galleries after creation and rebuilding manually now and again would be fine.

Hello Paul,
By turning cache off you will force thumb regeneration constantly.
On the contrary you need to opposite, you need a really high caching value eg: a couple of months and in case something goes wrong you can always manually clear the cache.
