Okay, I found out I can get some pages running with the SIG Pro, when I change the images to lowercase. But some still do not work, although there are no uppercases. It seems to me, that these are the galleries, the customer added, when it was still a 1.0 Joomla-Site. Is there something missing? I cannot find a difference.

Hi there!

I saw that the thumbs are not created in the right mode.
You can check it just going to the thumb
http://www.eclat.ch/joomla1581_mig/images/stories/temp/79991c47dcda79fca28b4e6ebcf2cc8d.jpg
I saw this issue again, but the only thing we did
is to open the image with some edit, like photoshop, and save it "for web".
After that the sig pro was able to create the thumb.

Can you please check it?
Thank you!

Which image? the original? I realise now, that it is an problem with the access. I can not change the access to some of the thumbs and I think that's causing the problem. so I cannot open these thumbs and not even copy them or anything. I'm now waiting for the hosting support to call me back.

Okay, it works if I save the thumbnails again. But that is really ennoying, because they are 240 images and now I have to find out which ones to change. As they are mixed Gifs an Jpgs I cannot use Photoshop actions. How are the thumbnails created? Can I not delet the thumbnails-folder and let SIG Pro create new thumbnails?

And will I have the same problem now everytime the customer uloads new images to the galeries?

Hi again!

You can empty the folder where the sigpro stores the thumbs.
In this way the script will re-create the thumbs.\

But you need to check out the users permisions
I mean that the user must have the same permissions of the joomla user
The script takes the joomla permissions to create the thumbs.

Thank you!

Okay, vinikey, it does work more or less. I did not have to recreate the thumbs.

The error still apears, but when you reload the page it disapears. Still very ugly and ennoying! What can be done about this? The site is online now: www.eclat.ch/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=65&Itemid=67&lang=de

Thanks for quick help.

Sorry, You're right. The cache cleaning did it. Remains me with the wrong link to the closelabel.gif : forum.joomlaworks.net/index.php?topic=6139.0

Thanks!

Hmmmm
As I can see the image
http://www.eclat.ch/plugins/content/jwsigpro/slimbox//closelabel.gif
doesn't exist. Can you check it please? It could be a problem during the installation of the plugin and the image wasn't be transfered.

Thank you!

No, that's what I said. The images is here: www.eclat.ch/plugins/content/jwsigpro/slimbox/german/closelabel.gif

but the code says:
www.eclat.ch/plugins/content/jwsigpro/slimbox//closelabel.gif
and of course the image can not be found.

Is it that difficult to change? It is a live-site and my backup-component is not working at the moment. So that is quite sensitive.

No no, it isn't but I suppose you have enabled the Joomfish
and there are reported cases that the language that sig reads is different that the joomfish give.

And this is the reason of the missing value between the double / of the close image link.
I can help you but we need to modify a bit the code of the sig file.

We have to correct the value of the variable $language.
First of all, what version of Joomla are you using?

After that I'll tell you what you have to change, but If you can give me an ftp account only for the files of sig we will do the patch in no time. I'll be very careful with the site!

OK, I believe it's ok now!

You can delete from the plugins folder the file
@jwsigpro.php
As you can see I had to insert the code
if($jfsupport) {
  $lang     =& JFactory::getLanguage();
  $language = $lang->getBackwardLang();
}

Can you confirm that it's ok?

Thank you!

I have to say, I have to agree with all other posters in saying WTF do I have to make all my images lowercase. Not that this is spelled out in the component instructions (it isn't), but the fact that I had (like others) installed the free version and decided the Pro was worth it. Now I find that unlike the free version which happily displayed any file name, I have a dirty big error pointing at the same folder. How can the free verison possibly have more useful functionality than the Pro version ? isn't it supposed to be the other way around ?

And if it is in the free version, surely it can't be that hard to implement in the Pro version ?

On the upside, the Pro version does work well.

Hi there!

About the lowercase issue you can find a patch here
with that you don't have to rename all your images.

I'm a bit confused, what exactly is the feature of the free that doesn't have the pro?

Thank you!
