I have had a Joomla site for awhile that runs on K2. Always has worked fine. When trying to update a page, it now says that I must install Simple Image Gallery Pro. I am no longer able to update any of my articles or even create a new page and save it. Is there a way around this? What has changed that would cause this to happen?

There is no forced alert for that.

The message to install "Simple Image Gallery Pro" is only shown in the "Image Gallery" tab. You don't have to install it, it's a suggestion if you want a tighter integration between K2 and a gallery system.

Unless you're referring to something else...
